Resources to help you explore 3D Modeling & 3D Printing
3D Modeling & 3D Printing can be important tools in the design & development processes.
These are some of the resources that are available to start using this technology.
Now, we do not suggest that you run out and buy a 3D printer.
However, if you must, then consider these SLA printers.
The Form2 is one that I would recommend that you consider. It's low cost, high quality and large build volume (5.7in x 5.7in x 6.9in) makes it one of the best desktop printers available.
3D Modeling Software
For jewelry design and 3D modeling, we recommend Rhino3D, ZBrush, and T-Splines plug in for Rhino.
You can usually get free trial periods for Rhino (90 days) and ZBrush (45 days).
These are challenging to learn. We strongly suggest that you take a 3D modeling class for Rhino & ZBrush. There are also wonderful online tutorials (see below).
Keyshot - KeyShot is a standalone real-time rendering application that creates amazing renderings.
Free 3D Modeling Software
These are some of the free, amazingly powerful 3D modeling software packages available.

If you're new to the world of digital sculpting, Sculptris is the ideal ground on which to get started.
Sculptris is similar to ZBrush, but not as powerful.
